Start Piazza Marinai d'Italia in Baveno, pier area at 9:00 am.

Short uphill launch to reach the Tranquilla footbridge after 1.5 km and then take the traditional path to Monte Camoscio km 5 Monte Crocino and lose slightly altitude to reach Alpe Vedabia (8 km). From here, turn right to reach the path that steeply takes you to Monte Zughero and then to your only refreshment point in the race at Alpe Nuovo CAI Baveno (10 km). From here, unlike the 25 km race, you will turn left towards the small bridge to cross the Selva Spessa river and from there for the last 1.2 km of the race with 300+ of the short track to reach the finish line at the top of Mottarone.
